Our Story

Kaylabé was born from a personal and family story, and a deep desire to better care for afro-textured hair and skin.

In 2016, Aissata, the founder of Kaylabé, was looking for natural skincare products adapted to her family's needs.

At that time, her son was suffering from chronic eczema. This situation led her to take a greater interest in natural ingredients, plants, and different ways of gently caring for the skin.

At the same time, she was also looking for hair care adapted to her family’s afro and kinky hair: hair that is often dry, fragile, difficult to detangle, and prone to breakage.

She wanted to find simpler, more concentrated products better suited to the needs of highly textured hair. However, the available care products did not always meet her expectations.

This personal and family search gradually gave birth to Kaylabé.

A brand born from a real need: to take care of her family with carefully selected ingredients, while celebrating the natural beauty of kinky hair.
